Sára Kordová
Sára Kordová is a designer and researcher working at the intersection of ceramics, material research, and architectural application. She is based at UMPRUM, where she also contributes to teaching, focusing on informal education and design methodologies.

Her work focuses on ceramics as an active material, developing porous structures that absorb, retain, and gradually release moisture. By combining traditional techniques with digital fabrication, particularly 3D printing, she explores how ceramics can influence environmental conditions.

She co-founded PoraStudio with Adam Varga, a design practice developing ceramic systems for architecture with a focus on material performance and environmental impact.

Adam Varga
Adam Varga is an architect and researcher focused on the intersections of art, technology, and ecology. He is currently pursuing his doctoral research at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he investigates robotic fabrication, computational design, and strategies for informed interventions that promote nature in urban and landscape environments.

He also worked as a research assistant at KTH School of Architecture, focusing on additive manufacturing and 3D concrete printing, and has experience in an architectural startup implementing AI and generative design into practice.

He is a co-founder of PoraStudio, where he focuses on advancing 3D printing technologies, generative design workflows, research and product development for architectural applications.

Ema Harmanová
Ema Harmanová is a ceramic designer and graduate of the Studio of Ceramics and Porcelain at UMPRUM in Prague. Her practice is rooted in material research, process and hands-on experimentation with porcelain and clay.

At PoraStudio, she works as a designer and ceramic technologist. She focuses on post-processing, surface development, colour application and new uses of traditional ceramic materials. Her role connects ceramic know-how with spatial thinking, supporting PoraStudio’s work across objects, interiors and architectural contexts.
